As PVW has noted, even if we accept all of Nan's claims about U.S. actions in Ukraine (she has conveniently established that these need not be factual), it still does not justify Putin's War.

Absolutely not.  If Russia or China attempted a coup using NGOs and their intelligence agencies, I think the only rational defense would be to invade Canada.

The Sakwa quote is about how Russia rejects the concept of democracy and national self-determination. That is the reason for hostility to, and in some cases active undermining of, democracy among former Soviet republics and satellite countries.

I think most rational people are wondering why we can't do better than the two fossils we have now, but it seems that it is what it is.

I rarely post videos, but this is one of my favorite VP Harris moments. She may not come across as warm and fuzzy but I'm not personally looking for that in someone who could possibly move into the Presidency. She had my interest in the Democratic Primaries and was one of my picks.
