Discussion: The Trump Indictments

We’re tired of trump and all his nonsense. He could still run for president from jail, he could still vote in November, the red donation site crashed after his supporters started donating money for him. I want to see him convicted in federal court before I start celebrating. This guy is a slippery, slimy creature, who’s also very dangerous. I’m glad he’s a convicted felon, and hopefully he’ll lose some of the votes he would’ve gotten if he was acquitted. I guess the only time we’ll stop hearing his name is when he’s dead and gone.

Get the Paxlovid ASAP.  The last time I had it (November 23) was definitely the worst thus far. Regardless of what people say, it's not something to be taken lightly.

In spite of our countless differences, I wish you a mild case and a speedy recovery.

Why shouldn't we see Glenn Greenwald's "Let Russia Have Ukraine" argument as literally repeating Kremlin talking points?

First of all, where did the Kremlin say "Let us have Ukraine?"  They reluctantly invaded in 2022 after years of frustration over broken promises from a West that was baiting them into war for the purpose of destabilizing Russia a'la Afghanistan.

You're probably not going to like this, but "Russia reluctantly invaded" sounds like a Kremlin talking point. Russia invaded in 2014, was occupying Crimea and had been providing troops and weapons to fight in eastern Ukraine since that time. Those are facts.

and finally...

Thanks all — wasn’t given Paxlovid, but got four prescriptions — antibiotic, prednisone,  benzonatate, plus an inhaler!

When my primary care doctor didn’t return my initial call, and the ENT doctor told me she couldn’t see me until the end of June, and my eye doctor said the nasal spray he had given me a few days earlier couldn’t be the culprit, I will be eternally grateful for Hackensack Meridian urgent care walk-in centers which have popped up all over Ocean County. My neighbor brought me to a center and within an hour, I was examined, diagnosed, reassured, and walked out. The center phoned in my prescriptions and my neighbor brought me home first, and then  picked up my meds and brought the to my house! I love this neighbor!

I'm sorry you have Covid. I think the rules for Paxlovid have changed so it's not free anymore, but hopefully it is for seniors on Medicaid still. I don't pray, but I wish the best for a full recovery.
