 What are you 12?

Your comments from the last few days aren't going to age well.

that one hasnt aged well already.

Your posts here in this thread simply demonstrate your willingness to throw reason and logic out the window when you want to make false equivalencies to set the libs straight on their "hypocrisy." That's when you're even trying to make an argument. Most of the comments aren't anything more than snide taunts.

How exactly? You can think the rioting that was done last week was wrong without thinking our democracy dodged a bullet.  The last 4 years everything has been consistently blown out of proportion.  Trump is colluding with Russia, he is doing his bidding by trying to pull out of Syria, he's cheetonhitler, he wants to be a dictator.

Trump is Trump.  What you see is what you get.  He wants to be liked.  He is no dictator.  He would have no idea how to pull that off.

He would never live up to what the Progressives think he is and he will never live up to what his followers think he is.  Look how quickly he threw them under the bus.

And don't you think it's just a bit odd that you are now so closely aligned with the corporate oligarchs?  During the Trump administration, you were aligned with the intelligence community and the military industrial complex.    I mean the argument being floated at one time was that the president can't pull troops out, only the generals should make that call.

And I don't like Trump, but I'm on the side of truth and principles.  A few other people were chased off of here because you didn't like what they were saying.  That's why people all of a sudden have an issue with people like greenwald and taibbi.  I have news for you.  They didn't change, you did.

Truth and principles.

You're so noble.

Thanks man.  That means a lot.

is this directly a response to me, or is this some general "you" that you're addressing?

I have read that although Parler is down, their entire database has now been hacked and downloaded after being left vulnerable. that includes EVERYTHING, -all posts, all users, all videos, and personal security information including Social Security numbers (which were used to monetize the site) and even many driver's license photos (which were used to prove that the user was not a bot).

"I drink your milkshake with a straw".

I read that as well this morning.

I have a feeling that we'll be hearing about a lot of arrests over the next year. There is a lot of data for investigators to pore over.

Maybe. But how could we possibly find out? Trump has been silenced by the Soros-funded left wing antifa communist BLM fascist Orwellian media.

That last sentence is t shirt worthy. Very quotable.

I am rethinking my view of the banning of Trump from Twitter.

If he were Twitting we would know exactly how delusional he may have become and he would be lengthening the rope to hang himself.

You may still have an opportunity - supposedly he's going to be on YouTube this afternoon.

Trump is still free to hold a press conference anytime he wants. Any day. All day. And only call on OAN if he wished. Not happening.

Speaking of OAN's lead story is: Biden pledges to defeat the NRA:

https://www.oann.com/joe-biden-pledges-to-defeat-the-nra/

How did this get to be the lead story today?  They share an NRA tweet from 9/2/2019 in it.  Weird.

That's the stunning thing about the whining about Trump being "censored." He's choosing to ignore the Press Room entirely. He has unparalleled access to information channels.

Well, you know, ‘fake news’, the standard outlets will outrageously spin anything he tries to present (I mean, look at poor Melania) so he’s probably being highly cautioned  cheese

Its not stunning, its expected. The never ending Trump families con.

This whinging is to work up the base more. Oh, poor martyred Donald, so unfair. Keep them worked up for 2024.

Interesting thread on Twitter about who is really behind Parler. The poster, Dave Troy, says everything points to Russia.

It's like posting on a public bulletin board in the middle of town - free to all until it incites violence.

Sheena Collum's statement regarding hate messages distributed in South Orange (worldwebs.com)

what's the 2021 Twitter bird supposed to be? A donkey?

Will you denounce your dear leader's calls for violent overthrow of the US government?

This may have been posted before, but twitter is a private company so they can ban who they want for any legal reason.   They are not the government so there is no government 1st amendment infringement here on the free press.   Fox, OAN, Newsmax are all repeatedly framing the Twitter ban as a constitutional violation.  If I wrote a letter to the Star-Ledger, it is up to the Star-Ledger to decide whether or not they want to publish it.  Trump has many other ways to get his messages out, but he chooses to play a victim.

This playing the victim routine has been much of the Trump presidency.   There must be something in the psyche of many Americans that they continue to fall for this false bs victim routine of the President.

Why you’d give air, then, to a two-month-old flight of fancy, which ends with the author himself acknowledging that Rebekah Mercer is the money behind Parler, is beyond me.

You're right. The Mercer thing also had me baffled.

Parler seems to have found a new  hosting company, Epik.  Epik is also the  platform for Gab, which is the "haven" for the Proud Boys. A lot of people who had been on Parler are moving, or have moved, to Gab.

"Epik is facing its own challenges as a hosting platform. PayPal recently terminated their relationship with the hosting provider, which provides hosting for the platform Gab, which is a haven for the Proud Boys. The Proud Boys were founded by Roger Stone, also deep into disproven conspiracy theories about the election."

btw - Twitter today deleted all #stopthesteal hastags. Ivanka had been posting on Parler with the #stopthesteal hastag - but not on Twitter. Cute.

yet again - failure to analogize.

with a large dash of misinformation. er, lying. You really shouldn't believe every bit of b.s. that's pushed your way. Makes you look bad.

I looked up the first quote by Pelosi:

https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2021/jan/07/facebook-posts/quotes-4-democrats-twisted-make-it-look-they-endor/

Nancy Pelosi

Pelosi’s alleged riot quote — "I just don’t know why there aren’t uprisings all over the country. Maybe there will be" — was said over two years ago about the Trump administration’s policy of separating migrant children from their parents at the U.S.-Mexico border.

On June 14, 2018, Pelosi said that the National Association of Evangelicals told Congress that the U.S. refugee resettlement system was the "crown jewel of American humanitarianism."

"And in order to do away with that crown jewel, they're doing away with children being with their moms," she said. "I just don't even know why there aren't uprisings all over the country. And maybe there will be, when people realize that this is a policy that they defend."

Seems like a tacit endorsement of unrest.  This one is a more explicit call for harrassment of political opponents.
