Mayor Pete is DECIMATING Tulsi the Warmonger.

Pete sucked. He is an empty suit.  He wants to send troops to Mexico.  He would continue the failed foreign policy.  He would not cut the military budget.  He would be a corporate puppet.

Let me translate this for the rest of you:

Oh ****, Pete has pulled ahead of Bernie and I need to do everything I can to stop him.

Maddow is the quintessential partisan hack. The left equivalent of Hannity.

Well, another debate night where no one stands out as the front runner. Still leaning towards Warren.

Bernie said he does not do fundraisers at wealthy people's homes!!!!  Ha!

I run hot and cold on Maddow - she has her good days, and she has her bad. She's definitely full of herself though. But I wouldn't come close to equating her with Hannity, who's in a different league of hackery.

Wow Bernie taking a swipe at Tulsi for doing fundraisers at the homes of the rich.

That had to hurt.

Warren's close is good - the government corruption issue is really the primary issue of our time, not Climate Change, not M4A - you can't accomplish much of anything else without removing lobbyist and corporate influence in Washington.

I am listening to analysis on The HIll and much better than MSNBC.

Warren did not get asked about her new Medicare Plan

They did not ask Bernie & Warren to discuss the differences between their plans.

Pete did not get asked about his Douglas plan (or his fake endorsements)

They did not ask Yang about automation

Instead, they asked Bernie about people chanting at his rallies.

There was little interaction (except for Tulsi and Kamala & Pete)

Lots of crap about how we are going "love each other"

Why ask Steyer on housing and Tulsi on climate?  Dumb.

Lame debate.  Sound bites.  Snoozer.

Also, LOTS on impeachment which they all agree on.

I think Stephanie Rheule would have been a good addition to the panel.. With a background in the financial world, she would have had some excellent questions on economic issues.

Good contrast to Rachel Maddow.

These were all excellent questions to avoid, because they're nonsense.

I couldn't take another M4A discussion. Its been in every debate. Best thing that spacey Williamson said, was why aren't we discussing why Americans are so unhealthy.

Are younger voters even thinking about this?

And automation? Yang brings it up each debate.

And at least Rachel Maddow asked what they would do if Roe is overturned.  Which is probably just a matter of time.

Pete talking about changes in farming to address climate change, that was a missed opportunity for both vegan candidates Tulsi Gabbard and Cory Booker

Those are critical questions.  I wish Bernie had gone after Warren on Medicare for All.  There are HUGE differences between his plan and all the others.  This is very important and they should have asked about it.

Yang is all about automation--I would have like to hear him say something and have others respond.

Also, wonder why Harris did not go after Pete about his BS endorsements in South Carolina.  They handed it to her and she punted.

Pete did not get the scolding he deserved, except for Tulsi.

Here's a question you won't get from the mainstream media:

arguing about the differences between Bernie and Warren on M4A is about as useful as arguing about the color of unicorns.

No, you just say that because you support Warren and you don't care about Medicare for All.  Warren is being disingenuous--she is saying she supports Medicare for All, but she really supports the public option.

Edited to add:  They should also have asked Buttigieg why he supported M4A until he got money from the healthcare industry.

BUT, anyway, . . .I can't believe I forgot to mention this (I'm falling asleep) -- there were zero questions about the South American coups. . . because corporate media.

Why was there a foreign agent on the stage?

Donald Trump has received 3x more from people employed in health care than Mayor Pete, who has only received a little more than all the other candidates, including Bernie.   And if you haven't noticed, most candidates are shifting over to Pete's M4A who want it camp.

No. What I care about is doing as much as possible  to improve healthcare in this country as quickly as possible.

You don't. You're prepared to have another 4 years of nuthin'.

Tulsi's big debate moment is a money-maker.  For Trump.

This is getting boring. One debates after another with their same talking points. Its like watching a commercial over and over. How many minds will be changed at this point?

Besides the giving to Republicans of attack pointers.

Also, there are too many candidates in the debates. Is it their diversity thing to give everyone a voice? Its time to cut the low pollers.

Tulsi gave it away - she said "Democrat issue" (instead of Democratic), just like a Republican.

I thought I was the only one who noticed that.

I am finely attuned to that particular insult. I can hear it a mile away.

Some people mentioned it on twitter last night too.

Well I guess you are just OK with the yellow ones!

Seriously why would any progressive want the two progressive candidates to fight with each other? It would only help the "centrists".

And that's why if anyone had asked Bernie or Elizabeth about their differences they most likely would have answered that their similarities are far more important.

I agree. I was out last night and I recorded the debate, but after reading and hearing about it a bit, I'm pretty sure I'm not even going to watch it. It's just the same blah blah blah since June, lather rinse repeat.

Thankfully the holidays are here and then the mad dash to Iowa/NH/SC, so soon things will start to come into better focus and debate forums should be smaller and more meaningful.

Tom Steyer actually said something interesting and surprising about strategy. He said we should stop chasing after the few Republican voters who could be flipped and instead concentrate on turnout among those non-voters who would naturally lean Dem.
