Is President Cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs the most powerful man in history?

I haven't done a deep dive yet, as the notion was just introduced to me a few minutes ago, but right now I'm thinking yeah, he is.

Genghis Khan or Augustus Caesar

nope

I can't even think of a close comparison.

I'm switching back to Ghengis Khan; his word was law from the Sea of Japan all the way to Central Europe. No legislature or judiciary to hem him in.

The planet was always going to survive him. Since 1945, that hasn’t been true of any American president.

POTUS is the most powerful person in the world, regardless of who it is.
As Dave Schmidt said, this has been true since at least 1945.

Since Trump is a complete idiot, this also makes him the most dangerous person in the world.

He appears to be losing the current negotiations to Iran, and has lost several cases in court, so I consider him impotent, a label that I firmly believe will leave him frustrated.

He thinks of himself as the most powerful man in the world, but basically everyone outside of the US is ignoring him.

Especially since he repeatedly has had to back down after counter pressure (or court decisions).

He is not the most powerful man in the world, if he was the Iranians would be afraid of him instead of making fun of him.
