Anders Osborne (Swedish born and New Orleans–forged) singer‑songwriter and guitarist whose career spans nearly four decades. Anders is known for his open‑D fretwork and a songwriting voice shaped by blues, folk, rock and jazz. He released his debut Doin’ Fine in 1989 and has written nearly all his material; his songs have been recorded by Keb Mo, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, Aaron Neville and Trombone
Shorty.Osborne’s 17th full‑length, Picasso’s Villa, recorded in New Orleans with Waddy Wachtel, Chad Cromwell and Bob Glaub, chronicles life in America from 2018–2021 — fear, confusion, joy and the peace found through friendship, family and meditation.
A tireless performer, Osborne has played Jazz Fest for 35 years, toured with artists such as Toots and the Maytals, Derek Trucks, Warren Haynes and North Mississippi Allstars (with whom he recorded Freedom and Dreams), and shared stages with John Scofield, The Meters and Phil Lesh. Honors include praise from Guitar Player as “the poet laureate of Louisiana’s fertile roots music scene,” Gambit’s Entertainer of the Year and multiple OffBeat awards for Best Guitarist and Best Songwriter. Fifteen years sober, he credits meditation and prayer for sustaining his life on the road.
Megan Jean’s Secret Family is a genre-bending rock and roots band built around the songwriting and powerhouse vocals of Megan Jean Klay.
Blending the spirit of 70’s rock with the edge and independence of the 90’s alternative scene, the band delivers vocal-driven, danceable original songs that bridge generations of American music.
Formed in 2021, the band quickly established itself as a dynamic live act, making its national radio debut on NPR’s Mountain Stage in 2024 alongside Keller Williams and Bettye LaVette. Their performance at DelFest earned praise from DC Music Review, which called them one of their “new favorite acts.”
The band’s debut full-length album PLOT (Play Loud On Turntable)—supported by a Maryland State Arts Council Creativity Grant—captures the
band’s raw energy and eclectic sound, combining rock, soul, country, and jam influences into something both timeless and fresh. Megan Jean’s Secret Family is currently finishing work on their sophomore album at Riot City Studios, with a full release planned for 2027.
