As long as both tax refund and social security are direct deposit, though to different accounts, it shouldn't matter. The funds should make it into one bank account or the other. Are both bank accounts in Chile?
My fingers are still crossed. They say I'm eligible, they have my bank info. Message yesterday said SSDI recipients would be sent a letter. Not an encouraging sign. Still waiting, & bills are coming due.
Who has yet to receive their check? Anyone in the same boat as me?
I've been told I qualify, they have my bank info. But now I'll probably have to wait til Monday for any new info. No trouble collecting a pile of bills that have to be paid, however.
If I didn't know it was set up for direct deposit, I'd be worried the folks in the Post Office had figured out how to identify government checks coming through them. (Sorry, but I've had a lot of trouble with important mail sent to and from me that just seem to disappear...all money-related.)
A family member has not received check and is getting a "pending review" or something like that on website. Accountant suggested filing 2019 Tax Return ASAP.
