Looks like this might be the explanation:
The application doesn't yet have your data; we’re working on adding more data to allow more people to use it.

We filed 2018 and we owed money. We have not yet filed 2019.
I checked last night and the site confirmed that we are eligible and we were prompted to enter a bit of confirming info from our 2018 return and our bank info.
The message was that we will get the direct deposit ... I don't know when but I think this is better than waiting on a paper check.
Just used the system. Please note that when I entered the amount of my 2018 refund I got an error note. So since my accountant applied my refund to my next years taxes I re-entered it as zero and it worked.
from Bob Roe: When i get my stimulus check, I am going to use it like "mad money." Restaurants, hardware stores, maybe plane tickets and just otherwise have fun with it. Hopes this does indeed stimulate the economy.
FYI: The adult son of a friend of mine just today got his actual physical check in the mail and it does indeed have Trump's name on it, -not the duffus signature of his but it does say from "President Donald J. Trump".

I expect direct deposit. If I received a check with the dufus's name on the Memo Line I would block it out. I do not believe that would void the check.
Do you enter the SS # with the dashes? Having a hard time putting in the information which seems very simple.

no dashes for the ss# but slashes for the birthdate...00/00/0000
and just street address and zip...no town name
Sorry for being so slow about this but the address on my tax return is care of (c/o) my son at his address. Do I enter it that way or just the street #, street name and zip code? thanks.

omg, got an envelope today, return address = Department of the Treasury, "Notice 1444" (our stimulus payment was direct deposited a couple of weeks ago, so now what?). Inside, the letterhead is The White House, and on the back is you know who's signature.
Waste of $, anyone? And now, where's my hand sanitizer?

I finally got a status update last week. It says I am eligible but they do not have a date for my direct deposit yet. It has been a week since I received that message and it still hasn't changed.
Anyone else getting the same message?
I gave my info Tuesday afternoon - it sounds like they update the info on Saturday. Here's the details:
If you enter your bank information in Get My Payment any day until noon on Tuesday, your payment date will be available beginning the following Saturday in Get My Payment.
If you enter your bank information after noon on Tuesday, your payment date should be available beginning the Saturday after next in Get My Payment.
There may be times when your payment may be sent by mail because the payment was already in process before the bank information was entered. If this is the case, then typically it will take up to 14 days to receive the payment (standard mailing time).

I get a SS Disability check by Direct Deposit every month. But I don't think the two systems function as one.
Have not gotten my stimulus check yet. Tried to give them all the info from 2018 taxes and bank., but it took me so many tries to get all the info in one place.and entered correctly. I used up my daily quota for the day.
Just got everything input today, and they said my check will get direct deposited. They didn't say WHEN, but I still think that's good progress. Fingers crossed.

I got the same status about a week ago and check several times a day for the date for direct deposit, to no avail.
Unemployment is completely screwed up, too. I applied over a month ago, I've gotten a letter telling me when to claim but when I do what it says, it says it's not my time (a schedule according to the last 4 of your ss#). When I wait until it's my day and time, it tells tells me to call the number. And then the number tells me to call back another day. SMH
Lol!! You cant make this sh#@ up! Having worked in government for 28 yrs I am sad to say --it is so true in so many agencies.

Are social security recipients getting deposits on their bank yet? which account did they use? the IRS refund account? or the account used to get their social security check? Some government websites say that the IRS refund bank info will be used, and other websites say that the social security bank info will be used.
Jamie - You were correct, I just checked and it stated I would get my money direct deposited on May 6th.
What date did you get?

"Account" here refers to the bank account into which your direct deposits are made. For most of us, money from either IRS tax refund or social security payment would go to the same bank account.

I did this a few weeks ago. I checked in yesterday and it said I should receive my check on Thursday.
