I never saw a rattler in all of my hiking in NJ. Have you come across many?

(One of the things I love about Central ALberta is no venomous snakes, a sharp contrast with our time in Texas).

Willowwood - they have a Seward Johnson exhibition running through November 15.

Three Rattlers in all my time hiking in N.J.  Probably about 20 Black Bears.

Rattleres -- as I have previously posted, there is a Timber Rattlesnake NEST that is about 3 feet from the Appalachian Trail at Sunrise Mountain, Sussex County. A couple of thousand people go past the nest every year, without incident.

A new preserve opened in Hunterdon County on 11/3.

probably the ridge in Pennsylvania on the horizon

Tributary to Delaware River, Pipersville, Pa.   ---    at the end of Autumn.

Ice pattern in a swamp.
