Thanks sir @jamie.

Well done migration so far.

Totally agree! You're the best! Your brother too. Thanks!

@Wendy - you know my brother?

Its a bit frustrating that despite choosing to remember me, I have to log in almost every time I come back

So do I.  ...

Me three.  Is there some way to persist our credentials?

Staying logged in will be addressed.  We're addressing several issues a day at the moment - in the next few weeks we hope to address most of the major concerns.

Jamie, I'm fairly sure it's on the to-do list, but just in case:

Remember how the old PM address field prompted the addressee's MOL name? That seems to be spotty/almost non-existent in the new version, even if the poster has returned. It would be helpful if the feature were back.

Thanks.

I'm impressed already. You may want to consider licensing this software out. It's a real alternative to the other stuff.

cheese I think we're the trial population. And I certainly don't mind - I'm enjoying it. oh oh

Yes - we are aware of this.

I think that's already the plan and we are the beta test.

Ya think? And while you're at it, I don't live in Europe and am not in the military so let's get it together with the normal 12 hour clock. Thankee. (Us Amuricans rejected the metric system and we damn well be consistent.)

But I love the brothers Ross no matter what. mwaaaaah!

I am noticing a possible bug @jamie

If I read posts on one device, they are still showing as unread/new on another device.  Is anyone else seeing this behavior?

Did you make sure that you were logged on first?  I keep getting messed up by that when I switch devices.

Yes after I logged on - its showing all the new stuff from the other device

@Jamie - I think the link should not be to "last post read" but to 'newest post read." I'd noticed and been annoyed on the old system that if you looked at an older post that wasn't on the newest page, when you returned it would (at least sometimes) take you to the last post you looked at and make it appear that you hadn't ever visited the newer pages.

Yes - I know it's on our to do list.

Probably in a minority but I like the 24 hour (as opposed to 12 hour) clock...

It's easier for those of us in different time zones to follow the 24-hr clock. Remember, it's not just MOLers overseas; the U.S. has several time zones.

... including those in Australia!

In many systems, the clock display is a user-configurable setting ....

marksierra, that dog looks like it's 4:20, and I don't think that translates well to 16:20...

5.35am, in fact.  Just don't schedule urgent based on our time stamps...

oh oh

Yeah, that's completely meaningless outside the US, and mostly meaningless outside the State of California, but it's popular now because Internet.

It's a BIG thing in Colorado. April 20 in Boulder is a little scary these days.

Ah, my bad. I was taken in by the California Penal Code myth. So it's just International Star Wars day but for pot heads. Except it's not international, because not every country has their dates month-day-year. Also it would mean 20 past 4 in the morning in many others.

Well, I'm embarrassed even though I've never heard the term before.

*blush* So much for just reading in context, late in the evening...!  LOL

 I actually like this behavior.
