I just realized that YOU had moved - scared me for a minute thinking that they had closed…

I was all excited today because I was going to see my boyhood idol, Herb Alpert, give a concert up in Cleveland tonight.

Then it turns out that what I thought was just a cold turned out to be covid.

Completely bummed out.

Hope you recover quickly and completely, no long covid.

COVID is making the rounds right now. Take care of yourself.

Hope you recover soon.  One thing that helped my wife and myself a lot, as older high risk individuals, was taking a 5-day course of Paxlovid as soon as we found out.  I recovered quickly, while my wife had a slight 2-day rebound before recovering.

Be aware --- Paxlovid is not recommended if you have high blood pressure - kidney disease.

the recommendations for Paxlovil regarding high blood pressure are decidedly mixed, as far as I can see.
