New morning NJ Transit bus to Port Authority from SO

I think it's good, actually, especially if there are announced delays in the train service, then it becomes an option that gets one there around the same time.  The 7 AM is working well for my husband.  

Is it important that the new bus' schedule be linked to the jitney schedule?  I've always walked to the train station in the morning, so I don't know.

If the buses were scheduled 10-15 minutes after the trains, then commuters whose trains were cancelled would still have a reasonable option and it would also help out others for whom the train schedule is not optimal.  It would also not be a bad wait for Jitney riders.  JMO as an observer, since I don't commute to the city and my commuter spouse goes in earlier (6:18 train usually.)
