Welcome back from me as well. Although I had cut back on MOL for unrelated causes for a few years, I never succumbed to the evil, evil FB.
That means that I’ve missed out on a few important or timely matters, but I’ve also avoided having my brains sucked out through my nostrils slowly, to be left in a desiccated powder on my desk, sucked dry of all meaning, logic or purpose. That might also be due to the successful avoidance of cable and broadcast TV reception in our household for more than 20 years.
Ours is another TV-free household. I don’t have enough time to do half of what I need or most of what I want, and TV is not on either list.

Hey, do you still have that cute black cat with the yellow eyes? Or was that just an avatar? It's very striking.
That was just an avatar - I found the picture online and loved it - but we did have an all-black cat with golden eyes named Hoodwink who sadly passed a few years ago from what was presumed to be lymphoma. I’m pretty sure I posted about it here at some point, and I still miss her.

That's sad. My cat died about a year ago and I miss her too. I think I do remember your post about that.
