Haven't shared any Trump emails in awhile - I hardly check them anymore. It feels like half of them are Fox personalities pushing their latest books.

Hmm, interesting take:
The big con involves creating a fake business such as a race horse betting parlor and convincing the victim that there’s a way to cheat the betting parlor.
So, the con with Trump is in having his followers believe that their donation will help to keep him in power.
I was trying to figure out if Donny is a con artist or a scammer:
Scammer is a more general term for a criminal who attempts to cheat you out of your money in a remote manner- over the phone, through email, fake websites. They cast a wide net but convince a smaller number of victims.
Con artist or con man are much older terms. These criminals attempt to cheat you out of money or belongings directly in person for the most part. There is a story and the attempt to gain your trust or confidence (the “con” part of the term) as a part of the crime. They either evoke sympathy or greed in their victim with their story and performance.
These terms are not entirely mutually exclusive, there are some people who run a scam in person and there were con artists at earlier points in history who were running cons via phone but in general scammer is a more modern term for the less direct and personal approach to the same idea of a crime being committed through deception.

Looking over the nearly 2,000 emails I got from the Trump campaign, the word "Covid" is mentioned in 8 of them. The word "Sorry" is never used. I had expected something like "We're sorry to hear of the rise is death s resulting from the pandemic- etc."
Overall, I would say every email contained at least 1 lie.
I wonder what happens to the suckers who opted to contribute monthly, do those ever stop - Trump certainly won't stop them.
