Well, it would be surprising to hear Trump explain anything of any complexity whatsoever. When it comes to middle school one-upmanship, Trump is very good. But that is about as far as it goes.

DJT is trying to fulfill his election promises. Yes, he wants to concentrate on illegal immigrant persons who commit crimes. The press says he's breaking up families, which rings hollow given exPres O was doing the same thing. where was the outrage then? (and to mention again - I did not vote for Trump)

The difference being that under the Obama Administration, there was an effort to focus on the real criminal element (e.g., violent crimes) of illegal immigrants whereas under the Trump Administration, that distinction is being deprioritized.

Taking a page out of the NSDAP playbook by finding a minority group to demonize, Trump is now carrying through with punishing that group.
