One of the problems is that once you get seasick, the medications don't really work (any of them). They have to be preventative. I start the Bonine 1 day before a cruise and take it every day whether sick or not. I didn't like the way I felt the one time I used the patch. Dull headache the whole cruise. It's a personal preference thing- got to to try them out and see what works best for you.
