Your Ideas Please -- What's The Going Hourly Rate for a Someone To Clean / Cook A Few Hours a Day?

I've been looking for, and may have found, an au pair who has several free hours a day while the kids at the household he's primarily employed by have school. He's got that family's blessing. The cooking is basic: make a lasagna or quiche that I can heat up to serve for dinner. The cleaning's basic too.

Any ideas?
