as is Massachusetts? No wonder no one believes in statistics anymore!
I do know from personal experience that insurance rates are higher in Essex Co. than rates in less heavily populated counties, and NJ has a lot of those. The statistics take this all into account.
eta - But Pa. is very rural, other than the Pittsburgh and Philadelphia areas, so go figure.(Might be all those pick-ups on the roads. )
The statistics for Mass. were based on numbers before @RobB moved back.
NJ is one of the best states for driving.
