Black vine weevil........only dangerous if you operate a commercial nursery.
Doesn’t look wide enough to be the weevil. Thankfully the head is wrong for the kissing bug. It might be a masked hunter, but that comes with its own issues, i.e. what arthropod food source lured it into the house

I found this in my kitchen late at night. To my untrained eye it looks very similar to a kissing bug. Where do I send this thing off to be checked out? It is currently in a glass spice bottle in my freezer
