Where to donate/drop off non-perishable food?

Are there any nearby Food Banks/Pantrys collecting now?

TIA

I second that. The best around here

St. Joseph’s Church on Prospect always had a local food bank, though I’m not sure if that changed due to the pandemic. Local drop off for donors, and contributions stay local, too.

Our Lady of Sorrows in SO on Prospect runs a Food Pantry the 2nd & 4th Saturday mornings of the month ... Everyone there is super nice and it's very well run ... My understanding is they accept donations at the rectory, though a phone call is in order to confirm

St Joseph's accepts donations Sunday mornings from 8:30am to 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM before each mass at the food pantry house on Hilton Ave behind the church

The door right by the food pantry is now open during the week - at least, that was the announcement in the bulletin. I think that this entrance is on 3rd Street. The same block as the school entrance, but closer to Prospect. I know the number of people they help at each Food Pantry has really increased over the past year.
