This would be great to add to the NJ-11 Special Election thread in the politics section.
It's all about name recognition. We in SOMA may know Dean Dafis (for better or worse), but how many people in other towns do? However, Malinowski is a former congressman and quite widely known. And others in between. I just hope that there will be a healthy campaign that allows all the candidates to make themselves known so that voters can cast their ballot based on more than recognizing a name.
