USPS old stamps

We have a pile of old, but unused, stamps (inherited from parents, etc.).

Some show a specific value, which is obviously still good.  Others show:

'First Class' - would this be equivalent to a 'Forever' stamp today?

'Rate G make-up' - is this still valued as $0.03?
