Undecided Congressional Contests

Here is a list of too close to call races:

I am,of course, rooting for the Dems but would have to laugh if Mia Love who Trump dissed for "showing me no love" pulls it off.

Imagine a female African American conservative Republican stinging from Trump's insult.

I'm looking forward to the November 27th Senate run-off which could result in an African American man becoming the next Senator from Mississippi. The optics and significance of that would be nearly as great as the first African American elected President.

To me it would be even greater. We are talking about Mississippi.

I've been reading comments on various sites from Trumpers who are convinced all of this is evidence of election fraud.  I can't tell if they are so dumb and/or ignorant that they aren't aware that a lot of states allow voting by mail and votes are LEGALLY counted for many days after Election Day, or they know it, but are lying just to advance an election fraud meme.  I'm also not sure if they know they're lying but think a lot of other people are so stupid they'll buy the election fraud story.

 All of the above.

@LOST, thank you for the Phil Ochs song. I should be listening to him more. Good stuff and a beautiful voice.

Andy Kim clinched the last New Jersey "too close to call" race making the state's upcoming House delegation 11 Democrats and one Republican.

I think I read somewhere that the swing in the NJ 11th (my district - winner Mikie Sherrill) was the biggest in the country.

It's not going to be easy to flip suburban Monmouth County to blue.  Maybe if Chris Smith finally retires.  But even then, it's going to be hard to get the old white people to vote Democratic.

If trump keeps helping, we might get it.

Smith won the New Jersey 4th District with about 55% of the vote. Of note, in 2016 he wanted with about 64% of the vote.

The result is still the same, but it's worth taking note of. Although, I don't know how organized and motivated the Democrats were in that District in 2016.

Steve Kornacki just mentioned that on MSNBC. The have also called two California seats flipped to Dems. District 10 where incumbent Republican Jeff Denham lost and District 48 where Putin's favorite Congressman, Dana Rohrabacher has been defeated.

In another California District incumbent Republican Mimi Walters has fallen behind and it's expected will lose to Dem Katie Porter and in District 39 The Dem is behind by only 122 votes and is expected to pull ahead. Those latter Districts are in Orange County which used to be the heart of Republican California.
