Posting for a friend with a 14 y.o. daughter -- her daughter has been experiencing severe self esteem issues, self hatred, isolating herself, etc. My friend (her mom) is at wit's end. Daughter refuses to go to therapy at this point, so the mom is in search of a therapist who specializes in these issues and will help her (mom) handle the situation at home while hopefully guiding the daughter into therapy.
