Will Trump walk away from our agreement?
Obama signed it.
Consequences - unknown.
Plan B - New Iran Deal - not known.
But Hillary's the real warmonger.
What a f***ing disgusting development.
this is what happens when you have a president who's been getting all his information from Fox News for the past decade.
Does he realize that if the deal collapses Iran can do whatever they want with nuclear fuel and weapons?
One of the challenges of being president is inheriting deals that you may not totally agree with. But successors deal with it because to do otherwise--which we see today--undermines the credibility of the US. Why would anyone want to do the hard work of negotiating these incredibly complex deals if they might be abandoned with the next administration?
and what is this telling North Korea about negotiating a deal to stop building nukes?
And - we're out!
Now we're going to have a much better deal - as soon as Trump let's us know what it is. (Just like health care.)

The GOP is reaping what they sowed. They went out of their way to tell their base that everything Obama did was evil and bad, including the Iran deal. Why? Because he is not a real patriot, american, christian, etc. (all code language for: he is black).
So now this clown in the WH is ripping all this stuff up, and there is no real argument they can make anymore, because they have been programming their base for years. The real bad actor is not trump, he is just a narcissistic idiot who barely knows what is going on in the world because all he does is watch fox news. The real bad actors are the GOP establishment, who created the environment for the idiot.
A journalist asked Trump:
"How does this make America safer?" asked the journalist.
"This will make America much safer," Trump responded.
One thing I haven't seen explained yet is what actually happens now that we've withdrawn? The pact has 5 other signatories besides Iran.
I'm hoping that as a practical matter, the deal is still in force in terms of Iran's responsibilities. Is the effect simply that US sanctions are now back in force?
In any case, hello higher gas prices!
Iran is now turning to the other countries--China, Russia, Britain, France and Germany--in the deal for "sufficient guarantees" to keep it alive. So if the US goes alone, not sure how much our sanctions will really hurt Iran.
Another moronic move by Trump.
I wonder how many of his business associates invested in oil Futures in the last few weeks.

I think Iran said they will bail if the US bails.
Let's not forget that this is great news for Putin.
what an f’in nightmare we are living in.

The same Putin that Trump's team wanted a secret White House telephone line to talk to?
A part of me is thinking that, as always, it's words, not deeds. He says this. But what will he do? Maybe nothing. Maybe everything will remain exactly the same. That's his MO. He just SAYS things.
I’ve read several opinion pieces that interpret this action as ‘akin to war on Europe’ when placed in context with other broken agreements.
(I keep wondering if he still expects to meet the Queen, when he’s proven to be unreliable and untrustworthy)
We've become a pariah nation.
Trump appalls me every day. But some days are far worse than others. This is one of those days.
The Nobel for Peace is off the cards now, does he realise that?? Especially with Iran ensuring everyone knows USA doesn’t keep its word. H’m, wise move, Mr President.
Sorry. I’m not trying to be rude. I’ll focus on our own federal budget instead.
Oil futures are up big.
Kind of ironic since Trump blamed OPEC two weeks ago for high oil prices.
Who does Iran think they are anyway?
Yep. Putin's investment may pay off after all.

Maybe. All his life, anyone Trump deals with ends up holding the bag. Won't be different with Putin.
from Bob Roe: Two question that have baffled me in this recent debate: 1. Didn't Iran use to have a glut of oil and was rolling in oil money? What changed. 2. if Iran still has a lot of oil and gas, why do they need nuclear energy?
