The FED’s actions and their impact on inequality

Out from self-imposed exile.

Hope sbenois and others weigh in on this. I know Nan would.

FWIW, I know that I have benefitted from the FED’s actions, but it does give me pause.

There are problems in the system. There’s a lot I don’t understand about them. Sorry, though, Jim, just personal preference: A writer who keeps setting himself up with questions that he can knock away with “It’s so obvious!” answers isn’t my kind of guide.

Also, does Henrich discuss anywhere a better course of action, and what the consequences might be?

The implication in my mind is that he feels the FED should stop intervening and let the chips fall where they may. This would cause an awful lot of pain, particularly on the upper and upper middle classes.
