Stay classy, Ferrari owner

Saw this last night outside McCloone's.

Was it the fantastic car or the actions of its owner?

Pics added now. Didn't realize I couldn't add pics from Mobile on the new system.

Nice car. This must be a no-parking zone?

Can I hate someone I haven't met?

Phuck losing? Is that the issue? Because the 355GTS is gorgeous.

Trying to figure out the one behind in yellow.

Saw this a couple weeks ago.

Yup!

I think the yellow was another 355, but with used car dealer plates. How mundane.

oops. tried to upload another pic

I see ten Ferraris a day. More Lambos. The rarity is sighting a Maclaren or an old Rolls, which I only see about once a day. Absolutely beautiful cars. No childish tags, though.

Most of the tags on these 100+ Ferraris were from Asia. But none from Phuket.

Hmmm. Men should be aware that most women believe that when a man drives a very expensive sports car, he is subconsciously compensating for inadequacies in other areas. The more expensive and souped up the car, the greater the inadequacy.

This guy with his fancy car and obnoxious license plate might as well be a eunuch.

Ha.

Probably heading to London again shortly. One summer's day through Knightsbridge, Park Lane and Chelsea, and the Middle East's annual influx will have emptied their exotics onto the streets. Record is two Bugattis and 5 Maclarens (doesn't hurt that there's a dealer just down from Harrod's) in an afternoon...the Lambos and Ferraris are usually too numerous to count. It's truly insane.

Personally I prefer the older Astons, Bentleys and Ferraris (and the sound of a lumbering TVR)on Kings Road, but that's just me.

Yes, but they're also at the age where they don't care.

Ha ha. Saw those 2 getting off 280 last night,

must have been on their way to mccloones!

The yellow one was so close to the red I never saw the license plate

The only déclassé part of this is going to McCloones. I'm off to the Chart House at the very least if I have those wheels.

Of course, perhaps they've already spent all their money on the rental?

I drive a cargo van. It's huge, sturdy, useful and takes it's time -and yet does not seem to be a chick magnet!

the largest collection of high end exotic cars I've ever seen in one place was at this joint:

Similarly, science has proven scientifically that the louder the motorcycle, the smaller the gear shift. True fact.

Sadly, there are a lot of false "facts" around, so I guess I can't make a complaint about this.

And sexy... cheese

Amazed that plate made it past the screeners. Oh well.

Former customer is looking at buying an LF-A. Wants me to give it the once over. I'm pretty sure he wants a $400,000 Lexus because he's 1)a (rich) car guy and 2) drove a late 80s or early 90s Lexus es250 all through highschool and college and vowed to one day own the best. His model wife and I typically talk about mods she wants to make to her Nissan Skyline. Oh well there are "facts" about BMW / Import / Chevy/ SUV owners that never seem true. "Haters gonna hate"

I'm terrifed of this car. There are a handful in this country and every pothole will be a "my life flashed before my eyes experience"

That's one MEAN car. Granted I could never spend that on a Lexus of all things, but still. Scary.

Yeah batman I'm honesty scared. My acura has some juice but that Lexus is insane. The pricetag is 2, 3, or 4 times the cost of some "supercars" (a nice used NSX can run you $30-50k and thats a whole lot of car too) many blogs and magazines said it was way too high and I concur. I'd almost rather this dude shows up with a Lambo or old r34 vspec skyline.

918. Twice the price but twice the car. smile

Just for kicks and giggles.

Back when I was a Collegiate, I had a professor who was of the same age. and was willingly engaging outside the classroom.

One afternoon, as we were walking to her car continuing our discussion, she pointed out a motorcycle; and launched into a diatribe about men, toys, speed yada yada yada.

So I unlocked the helmets on the bike, held one out to her, and asked if she wanted to go for a ride. She giggled, she actually giggled; ran to her car, put her handbag and briefcase in the trunk, ran back, put the proffered hamlet on, and said LET'S GO.

Moral of the story: not every male one sees with a vehicle that other persons finds absurd, is looking to compensate for some inadequacy. Some people just like to enjoy the fruits of their labor.

As aside, how many SUVs do you see being driven by people, in poor conditions, who have no idea what they're doing? What is the point of 20" wheels on an Escalade? What is the point of 20" wheels on any street vehicle.

What statement are people with SUVs, who have no intention of ever leaving asphalt, making?

Stereotypes present a tough issue.

I wonder how they get started?

918 very nice. I need to win the lottery and take a few classes with skip barber. Going from fwd to awd , rwd, mid engne , rear engine or some other configuration from these manufacturers is a big jump.
