South Orange Summer Nights
I was stunned by the lack of turnout for Sarah Hodd and her band last week in SO. Free. Maybe 30 people. She is a first rate R&B and rock singer with a really solid band. I don't get the indifference to first rate music, especially in MAPSO, with its sophisticated arts oriented demographic.
I don’t know how these events are publicized. I signed up for the South Orange municipal email list when we moved here. I’m not on Facebook or X or Instagram or Bluesky or TikTok or Snapchat. So I don’t know if there’s a presence there.
Wednesday night was Columbia high school graduation. So a big chunk of the town was caught up in that.

It looks like lots of fun!
What I can’t find is any information about whether there will be accommodations for seniors. I know in the past they’ve had dedicated sections near the stage with seats and wheelchair access.
