South Orange: Electrical problem (and road closings)

There's a transformer going bad at the intersection of Edgewood and S. Ridgewood. Lots of sparks and smoke. The fire department is there now. Edgewood is blocked off. My lights are flickering like crazy. I think I'll unplug my expensive electronics now.

Walton is now blocked off at S. Ridgewood.

Please try to avoid S. Ridgewood and Walton. Walton is still closed heading towards Maplewood, and there are utility trucks all over the place. Combined with the rain and leaf piles, it's a dangerous situation.
