silver

I have a quantity of old silver dollars and other silver coins from roughly the mid to late 1800s to the mid 1900s. None are in mint condition and some are in very worn shape. I was wondering if anyone had suggestions of a person or place to cash them out.

If the coins are in lousy shape you will probably get a discount to the spot price per ounce on the day you want to sell them. Try http://yeoldecuriositieshoppe.com/contact-us/3297988..

Norman Scrivener is a coin appraiser for Doyle in the city, but lives out here. Used to own Scrivener's in Maplewood.

+ 1

The owner will go through the lot (he's fast and has a good eye) and tell you if anything has value. The rest he will buy as rhw says.
