SELLERS BEWARE - Definite scam on MOL Classifieds
The same exact thing happened over the weekend to a woman who was selling a king headboard on MOL classifieds.
Thanks this does happen - we've implemented a few measures to help curb this - our overall message is that we stress that you keep it local - we also do post suspicious users on our FAQ page - and we do have a warning there not to take gadapay - cashier's check - western union:

Just thought I'd plug a couple new features that some of you may not be aware of:
Watchlists - If you're on a classifieds category, whether in the For Sale or Job Market you'll see a star in the upper right side of the content. When you click this it will subscribe you to a watchlist - at midnight it will send you emails regarding items posted in that category during the days.
10 items for $9.99 - This is a new feature - not sure how long we'll run this special, only caveat is that all items need to be posted in a 24 hour period.
8 images - Old system only let you post one - now you can post up to 8.
Just had a Joachim Andersson (joachim50m@gmail.com), who said he was based down in Texas and was deaf and mute so could only communicate via email - wanting to purchase a used double stroller from me, which I had listed on MOL CLassified!?!? He said he was collecting a few items from the area and so would send me an e-check using Gadapay.com covering the cost of the stroller he was purchasing from me and also then over $500 for the "picker" as he called it. I was to then forward the "pickers" money onto them. But he'd given me no details for the so-called professional moving company. He said I'd get all that info once the check had cleared in my account!
When I asked how he found MOL from Texas, he got short with me and when I asked the name of the delivery company I haven't heard from the person since. All my discussions with the individual were via email.
This is a sick world we now live in where even trying to sell a used double stroller can get you in all sorts of potential trouble!?
