Repair of Laptop Screen - - where to go?

My college kid has finals in 2 weeks and his screen just broke (from dropping it)...Apple Macbook Pro, early 2015....he's flipping out.....does anyone know where can we go to have it repaired reasonably "quickly and reliably"?

The Apple store can do this.

It's not terribly hard to do it yourself. The procedure manual and parts are available at ifixit.com. You need a steady hand and good vision or reading glasses. You have to keep track of many small parts, but it basically just screws and snaps together.

The screen will cost several hundred dollars without labor, but I think it's worth doing.

If you think it's better to replace the machine, you can transfer the files to a new computer.

I can help if you'd rather not bring it to the Apple store. I'm at tom@noglider.com and 646-683-7887.
