question about staying signed into iCloud on my desktop

So I access my calendar, contacts, notes, etc. via iCloud on my desktop PC. I always check KEEP ME SIGNED IN. But it constantly signs me out so almost every time I return to my calendar, say, I have to sign in again. Any idea how to remedy that?
