You may have to have a new 1/2 inch poured which can be scored, colored and finished to your liking. I have a name who did our apartment 4 years ago. Will search.

He's a 5 star contractor in my book and was a miracle worker for us I've attached a photo similar to what he did for our floor. Your imagination and wishes are the only limit, well, those and checkbook! My project was about the same as putting down 3/4inch hardwood.

We have a vision of stripping all the moist and nasty drywall out of our basement and turning it into some sort of waterproof industrial space with bare floors.
Does anyone know a company or contractor who would polish the concrete floor to a shine?
