Beautiful photos! I grew up in the tic infested Pine Barrens.

They were taken on a hill, overlooking a valley. Trees on top of the hill were illegally cut down by hunters. This opened the view.

If left alone, the existing vegetation will grow back and obstruct that view. Our guide said, that will happen within 5 years as those trees grow quickly.
