Phone jack buzzing
Is the landline copper or FIOS? We finally had to drop our copper landline when the interference got so bad that we ended up on a party line at a time when we had to make an urgent call. Verizon is trying very hard to phase out its copper service and seems very reluctant to make any needed repairs to keep that end of their business going. Wishing you good luck.

We have Verizon phone internet and tv service. 3 cordless phones one corded phone. For the past month our phone had terrible static on the line. today I woke up and there is an audible static noise coming from an unused phone jack. It sounds like white noise from behind the wall I disconnected all the wires to the jack but still have the noise. I unplugged all the phones and jacks and replugged but no change. Verizon is coming Sunday but just thought I would throw it out here to see if anybody has an opinion on the cause of the noise.
