Personal Fireworks use in New Jersey

For the life of me, I can't find a simple explanation of what a NJ resident can do with fireworks after the new law was passed last year.

ShopRite is selling fireworks. Does this mean I can buy whatever they're selling and just shoot them off on my front lawn?

I was under the impression that hand-held sparklers and in-ground sparklers and smoke devices are legal to use in NJ (as of mid-2017), but not explosive and aerial fireworks such as firecrackers, Roman candles, sky rockets and bottle rockets.

^This.  Fountains are ok AFAIK, for example. I’d you can shoot it at someone, no go.

Just color?  Fine.

Bang?  Not fine.

I haven't looked closely at what they're selling at ShopRite, but I have to assume that they're only selling legal stuff, right?

And is it limited to certain holidays?

anything sold in a NJ store (excluding shady operations) would be legal to use in NJ
