Painting lessons wanted

Hi.  I am looking for a unique present to give to my significant other, and I was thinking of painting lessons.  Is there a local artist who gives painting lessons to adults with no experience, and who would do this in their home/studio and provide all supplies?

I have friends who take lessons at 1978 Art Center on Soringfield Ave and I believe that they have beginner classes.  I will inquire for more info.

Second recommendation for 1978.  Geralyn's (on Baker Street in the Village) and the Adult School (most classes at CHS) are other possibilities.

Sandra Charlap of The Craft Loft, offers painting lessons here in Maplewood.  She's a graduate of Parson's and was an art teacher at Golda Och for years.
