I have a bag of cat food to donate, too - I'm in Maplewood. Are you local or is there a Maplewood/SO site where I could drop this off for you? I can PM you the details if that might work.
Thank you, I can pick up or ask my friend in Maplewood if you can drop off there.

What happened to the gorgeous little Blue Moon? I'd love to see an updated photo if you have one. We've got our hands full, but gosh is he cute.

Blue Moon was adopted with one of his sisters.
He was from a litter of 8 and all went to great homes, a few local.
We are working on a litter of 6, one was a female ringer for Blue Moon and she went home with a gorgeous blonde male sibling to a South Orange family and their 2 tabby siblings are being met be potential adopters tomorrow, again locals so a big thank you to our neighbors who have come to their rescue.
The 3 above will be ready soon and be prepared to be "wowed" by the smartest and most courageous little kitten Theadora The Adorable, who is working on kicking the bottle and almost ready to be drinking from her big girl cup! She was given to me by our friends at Valley Vet via Maplewood's animal friendly ACO!

Sent you a PM about the food, Morganna.

Where is the shelter? You can PM if you don't want to post. We are headed to the pet store this weekend and can pick up some litter for the kitties.

Thank you, and I'll get right back to you in the AM!
This has been a great day for kitten adoption. 2 Wonderful local adopters took 2 cute kittens and a big tom cat was taken to the vet for his neuter!
Now to trap the Mom!

@chocolatechip: Please remove your post about litter or at least edit it heavily so people realize it's about JAC, NOT Morganna's rescue efforts?

done

Here's Tilda, one of our latest kittens looking for a home. She's about six weeks old and ready to go (first shot, worming, Revolution) in about two weeks. Smart, playful and completely litter trained.

Here's Jinxy - brother to Tilda - who will need a home in about two weeks. His cast (hang gliding accident) will come off Friday. If he looks fluffy in this picture, it's because his fur is medium length. Soft as long hair, but without the upkeep.

oh my. those sweet little faces.

Drumroll please, the latest photos of Theadora The Adorable, tested negative, first shots done, and ready for her new family!

OMG! Those eyes are melting my heart.

Those little faces are the sweetest!

Wow. What gorgeous kits.

OK, now meet the Maplewoodians Batman and Bluebird, his girl sidekick!

Oh how I love Tuxies!

Ah Hah,
And the good news is you are pre approved! LOL
Big Ben has the coolest tux, he has a thin white pencil mustache.
Very 30's, very Thin Man.

Well, then he must be named Nick Charles----which I think is a very cool name for a cat.

But no kittens for me while I am dealing with geriatric population of cats and dog >sob< and as much as I love the babies, I will always adopt a mature cat.

Nick Charles would be a wonderful name! (wasn't there a female in the picture, too? Could she be Nora?)

Thanks to a great cat photographer and foster Mom, (Sharon) here is Aubrey, the sister of Tilda and Jinxey posted earlier by another great foster Mom (Bigben)

Gasp. What a stunning little girl!

Can't wait to find her a home! It looks like her sister Tilda has a possible adopter. We will know by next weekend.
It would be great to find Aubrey and Jinxey a home together!
We also have a home for a the sister of Batman and Bluebird but that gorgeous pair are still up for grabs!
And let's not forget Theadora the Adorable!

Me too, I have a soft spot for the older guys.

Oh, I also love mature cats, and have adopted quite a few over the years. But I also have a soft spot for the one kitten I have raised... my avatar Nikita. oh oh

OK Here is the update! Tilda was adopted, (there were 2 adopters that didn't come through but that goes with the territory.) Jinxey should be going to an adopter, who fell in love with him at Pride Day, and Theadora The Adorable found a home through the creative efforts of one of our foster Moms!
We still have available beautiful Aubrey, and Batman and Bluebird, and a new surprise boy, Eric the Red!
We also have a long-haired tabby, (we think ) as the foster Mom is having attachment issues) and a lovely dilute grey torbie.
Let's see if we can get these kittens adopted! All loveable and sociable, thanks to some very dedicated foster Moms and a very caring foster Dad.
