Morgan Le Fay Cat Rescue - Maplewood woman responsible for TNR has passed away leaving cats.

Prepare to meet royalty! The Game of Thrones Litter will be appearing very soon. Spoiler alert!

A little background: This rescue is a very worthwhile entity, run by a local (or I might argue "loco") woman. She does not have a shelter building but occasionally takes in kittens someone finds running around in the dirt or barely surving in a dirty doghouse in a less desirable part of a less desirable town. She also relies on people to foster occasionally. She is very generous in offering to post pictures and bios on her Petfinder site and over the past two years she has helped individuals and organizations find homes or placements for over 100 cats and kittens.

The four kittens I had earlier this year (my thread: Now for Something Different: KITTENS!!) found homes via the Morgan LeFay Cat Rescue site. The adopters came from Belleville, Bloomfield and Mountainside, so she pulls from beyond our community. If anyone wonders what happened with the rehoming of @meandtheboys' "Pumpkin", she was placed in a foster-to-adopt situation through Morgan Lefay Cat Rescue site.

So, please, if you get a hankerin' for a kitten or a deserving cat, remember to look here:

Absolutely cute kitten!

I know for sure I am very grateful that she posted Macadoodle aka Mango on her site! Trying to find a home for a FIV+ cat is not easy and she was so gracious to me...
Thanks again, Morganna!

@Morganna -- After ctrzcat passed away a few weeks ago, we still have some of his diet food here that we'd be willing to donate if you have use for it. Half dozen cans of Purina One adult Healthy Metabolism and Royal Canin moderate calorie Urinary SO. Also have a litterbox with cover and a rubber placemat for food bowls. Let me know.

Thank you, I would be happy to take it, and so sad about the circumstances.
I have seniors and I try to make everyday with them special. When I come home from work I check on everyone and shower them with affection.
Post a picture of him if you like. It will immortalize him in print....
I'm sure you have read the story of the Rainbow Bridge.....
My condolences.
And you can talk about him if you like.

I have a case of Friskies moist chicken if you want it.

I have jarred baby food from when I was desperately trying to get my cat to eat in his last days. would you want that?

Yes, that would be great!
Again let me know how I can get it?

My pet store proprietor often saves damaged bags for me---she can't sell them, and she would rather have rescue cats benefit. Right now I have a 12 pound bag of Holistic Select, and a 5 pound bag of Natural Balance Limited ingredient (Duck and Pea----which sounds like an instruction oh oh but those are the ingredients) I will gladly give them to you---and funnel any more that I get, to you.

Duck and Pea! I think we have the name of a shelter here!
That sounds terrific, let me know how I can pick it up!

So here are pictures of Pumpkin/Hashtag/Patchwork in her new home !

And with her new roomies.

So happy to see her settling in!

We have a few litterboxes and food/water bowls we are not using and would love to donate them.

Meow,
Tabby and Tomcat

Tell me how to pick them up, of course if you prefer, I can drop off a cat to use the......
Meow back atcha!

No cats for us yet... (Though if you have a Maine Coon or Norwegian Forest kitten...).

I'll PM my address if you want to stop by else I'm happy to drop off if you're local (MSO).

Thanks for the kind words on ctrzcat... there's a thread up on MOL somewhere on his last valiant fight, with a pic. Will be tough to replace that personality (a loud, demanding fighter that chased dogs out of the house AND an affectionate lap cat always ready for a curl with someone).

We can drop the litterboxes etc off to you.....(and we have 4 kitties) so the litterboxes we are using are getting plenty of traffic oh oh

I'll be working tomorrow, but if you want I can pick up on my way home if you are in Maplewood or South Orange?
You can PM if you like.

Once in a Blue Moon we find a cat this cute!
He's ready to be adopted and would be happy to bring a littermate!

OMG, so cute. If it were up to me I'd be in the car already…

Hubby is not ready to give Dusty ( Cinderella from last fall) a new friend yet. Although did you see the Morgan Spurlock show on Sunday where he works at a shelter in PA for a week? I thought it was a great piece and I hope it helps more people adopt their pets.

Morganna-- Saw you stopped by. Hope it helps.

Didn't see the show. By the way, you can tell "hubby" of course you are pre approved!
Feel free to post a new picture of Dusty, and so glad you are happy with her.

Morgan Le Fay Cat Rescue will be at Green Day in Maplewood on May 17th and this young lady will be offering voice lessons!

simply stunning...wish Tante T had more room in her inn...

Some new Maplewoodians will be looking for permanent quarters! Thanks to a concerned local citizen, we have placed these little ones in foster care, thanks to another concerned local citizen! We will be introducing them to the community at Pride Day on Sunday June 8th at our Adoption Table. These were their first peeks from their hiding place.

I have a bag of cat food to donate, too - I'm in Maplewood. Are you local or is there a Maplewood/SO site where I could drop this off for you? I can PM you the details if that might work.

What happened to the gorgeous little Blue Moon? I'd love to see an updated photo if you have one. We've got our hands full, but gosh is he cute.
