Makeup Recommendations

Hello all, 

I have not worn much makeup in 2 years due to working from home and breast cancer treatment. 

I'm still on treatment but am no longer on chemo . 

Looking for a good foundation that is light and provides good coverage, non drying , prefer something that is cruelty free not animal tested  and not full of chemicals. 

Gradually I am getting back to being me again .

A friend's wedding sent me off in a similar search and eventually bought Jones Road. It is Bobbi Brown's current make-up line (she sold off the Bobbi Brown brand name). 

Like the Bobbi Brown line, it provides decent coverage with a natural look. 

I'm so make-up challenged that I made an appointment to work with a make-up artist at Jones Road in Montclair. It was expensive but she provided me with a detailed diagram so I could apply it myself. I've gotten lots of compliments.

Alternately, I would go to Ulta or Sephora and let one of their experts help me.

No recommendation on make-up.  I did want to let you know how happy I am to learn you are on the mend.  Best wishes for a speedy return to full health.

I’ve been liking Tarte BB tinted primer. I use as a light foundation. I buy it at Ulta on Rt 10. Vegan/cruelty free.
