Kittens - Need Help Please!

I found 2 gray tabby kittens under my porch today. I think the mom cat is feral. Although I love cats, I can't take them in given that I have a Jack Russell Terrier that would eat them and my spouse has severe cat allergies. What type of rescue options are available?

Are you in Maplewood? If so St. Hubert's handles your animal control, but Furry Hearts does your TNVR so that the mom can be returned. Any guess as to the age of the kittens? Do you want to post pictures?

Each town has slightly different solutions.

For South Orange we have People for Animals for our TNVR and they will spay the mom and take in the kittens.

That's a start and there are more options. If you do not want to post your town you can PM me.

Also if you can post pictures someone on MOL may want to adopt.

Who is your vet.

OK I'll stop with the questions LOL

Morganna - Thank you for the response. I sent you a PM.

The best picture I could get from my basement window. I now think that there are 3 kittens.

Mom and 3 kittens have been trapped.

awesome! Guessing st Huberts was able to help?

I'm fostering the cats in a room away from my dogs and husband. I will likely work with St. Hubert's (or anyone that will help) for spaying and adoption if I can't place the kittens on my own. My dog walker helped with trapping the mom.

I'm happy to put them on my Petfinder site to help you find adopters. We can also take them to my adoption days at Petco. They should be ready around Thanksgiving!
