John Bolton

We are ALL in trouble now!

one hopes his jack-assery will.appear early on, early enough to bring trump's prestige deeper into the gutter. But...who's going to get btween trump and the button?

Does Bolton have to be confirmed by the Senate? W couldn’t get him approved as UN Ambassador and had to do a recess appointment

Bolton doesn’t have to be confirmed by the Senate.

These are extremely dangerous times. We are going to war. Trump will create a nuclear conflagration to have his revenge on all of us. Trump is trying to frighten us all into silence.

Accompanied by the GOP fife and drum corp.

Trump can't nuke anyone without Mattis signing off on it.  Of course Trump can fire Mattis.....

Heard this on the radio this morning.  Trump hesitated for a while about Bolton's appointment because he dislikes moustaches. We'll have to see if it gets trimmed.  The NYTimes says Bolton is dangerous and I certainly agree.

He's a really bad choice for this role.

I read a piece on the lawfare blog today by someone who knows Bolton from the Bush admin, and he says that Bolton is a master of Washington bureaucracy, so he could end up being very "effective".

He also said that Bolton "does not suffer fools gladly". I wonder how long he can put up with Trump?

He also has a reputation for kissing up and kicking down, so I think he could play Trump.

We can only hope that these two tempestuous, cantankerous men, fly into simultanous rages and end up flying at each other in a massive collision, wiping each other out like two wicked witches of the west!  Either that or they will look so foolish, everyone will ignore their bluster and it will die out.

A real victory for the "Both candidates are the same/Hillary's the REAL interventionist" crowd.
