ISO Orthopedist who knows SHOULDERS

Previous doc no longer take my insurance [UHC] - I have chronic shoulder pain, likely overuse syndrome and need to see someone to refer me for PT. TIA.

I am currently seeing Dr Pinkowsky at Center for Orthopedics for rot ator cuff. Previously seen hom for other issues. Satisfied http://thecenterforortho.com/physicians_dr_Pinkowsky

Dr. James Lee jr is a shoulder expert

514 Joyce Street Orange NJ 973-672-2214

Eric Black at Summit Medical Group did my AC joint surgery. My only regret is that I did not have the procedure done sooner.

PT didn't help me much at all. I was paying $80/wk i copays. I'm now going to The Gym for $70 visit, and am about cured. Raf is a shoulder specialist and wonderman. When I was at PT, I just did some simple machines, but never got fully better.

Sorry for the repeat - couldn't figure out how to delete

He works at The Gym on Springfield Ave. As a "victim" of bent arm due to surgery and 2 frozen shoulders, he is the only one to cure you. I say this after going to three different PT locations. He's very difficult, and it hurts like hell, but I'm much much better, and could not have seen the results through PT. Raf has a great deal of education in training and the shoulder.

For what it's worth, have you considered pain relief by TENS device?

Have you ever used one?

It relieves pain, but doesn't fix the problem. Very tight muscles need to be stretched to relieve the pain.

Thanks, doctor. Snowmom says she has chronic pain, likely from overuse, not very tight muscles.

Today had consultation with Dr Pinkowsky - thanks Library Lady! He thinks its mostly bursitis: gave me a shot of cortisone and Rx for 6 weeks of PT. Optimistic.

BTW LL, I thinks he looks even younger in person than he does in the photo on the website.

Don't be a smartass, mrmaplewood. Having experienced two shoulder problems, I do know a little, not much, but something. No need to be rude.

Look again at what the real doctor recommended. No need to get your shorts in a twist.

Ooh I was there at 2 pm..Maybe we saw each other in the waiting room. I swear that he is 12 years old but he seems to know his stuff. I have tendinitis in my bicep. Aren't those cortisone shots sooo much fun? feel better soon!
