InDesign training

Hi - I need to learn basic InDesign for the Mac for my new job. Any guidance on a place where I can take a class either near Maplewood or in the city? Thanks!

No idea about in-person training, but you can start here:

I took a two-day class in InDesign with the American Graphics Institute (AGI) and had a very good experience:

Highly recommend instructor Jerron Smith if you can get a class with him...

I can give you a basic lesson if you like. I've been working on it since it first came out in the market to save my from the hell of QuarkXPress. PM me.

there's also tons of creatives in town that probably would be able to tutor you... for a small fee of coarse! Also, Adobe has tutorials on their website.

Bluepool - did you do it in person or online? The intro class sounds good!

In person, in their training center at the Workhouse on W. 46th Street -- very cool place to spend two days. At the end of the training you get an InDesign textbook which has really come in handy for me...
