How to download pictures from Galaxy to iMac?

Does anyone know how to download pictures from Galaxy S6 to iMac in an easily done way; or possibly set it up (with some relatively obscure app), so its done "automatically" ?

If so could you share the information (or know someone who can) OR lets make arrangements to meet so "we" (or rather, YOU) could do it?

Can you connect a USB cable to your Galaxy S6 and then to the Mac? Likely the Mac will recognize there are photos there and ask if you would like to download, as it would when you connect a camera.

PITA phone - had to do this for a client - wth the obscure app that hardly worked. Decided it was just easier to use Google photos.

If the Galaxy works the same as the note it is very simple.  Set up Google Drive or Dropbox on the Galaxy.  Move the pictures on the phone to the share.  Open the Share on your MAC, and pull them in.  Make sure you move them from the phone to the drive using wifi so you don't eat up your data....

If you don't want to go directly from phone to computer, you can auto-backup your cell pix to Amazon Cloud or Google Photos and download them from there to your computer.
