I haven't bought it yet, but am looking for a budget device that I can set up to read epub or azw/mobi books or listen to audiobooks. I want to get this for my grandchildren so don't want any device that is tied to a retail outlet. I also want to be able to have just a few apps on the desktop for the uses mentioned.
Am I on the right track?
I have looked online at instructions for rooting but am left with questions about an os, etc. I fear doing this myself is out of my league.
