On your phone click on the little settings icon that looks like a gear.

Tap on 'Categories"

Find the category you want to unfollow and tap the eyecon next to it.

Achieve bliss.

We were able to do this on the old version of MOL. Thanks for the reminder -- I'm off to do some unfollowing myself.

We've had this ability for about a month. Unfollowed Politics and Education the first day. My life is just a little calmer for it.

ETA: Ahhhhhhh.... Never mind, I found it. Boy, that was about as intuitive as mud.

Mud is probably one of the most intuitive substances you will come across.
