Grantchester fans might enjoy seeing James Norton in the A&E mini-series War and Peace.  It's on demand on FIOS.  He plays Prince Andrei.  The screenwriter was Andrew Davies, who wrote the BBC mini-series Pride & Prejudice starring Colin Firth.

It was a perfect thing to fill in my schedule with while I am waiting for more episodes of London Spy and Sherlock.

I watched London Spy, 5 part series with Ben Whishaw.  It was very good.  I remember how phenomenal he was in The Hollow Crown playing Richard II on pbs a few years ago.  Unforgettable performance.

I can only get two episodes of London Spy here, for some reason. I wouldn't have thought BBCAM would be so spotty in CT.

But I saw the War & Peace mini series with James Norton and Lily James (cousin Rose from Downton Abbey). Beautifully done.

Where can I watch season 1? Does PBS have the whole thing online somewhere? It sounds interesting!

I get excited now every time I see James Norton in a movie or show I didn't know he was in before...   

ok people...after coloring Easter eggs and/or hopefully enjoying Sunday in any way even though missing DA....this coming Sunday...season 2 of Grantchester premiers.

YES - very dark and unsettling.

Dark, unsettling, but thought-provoking.

There were some dark themes in the first season, too. I thought this episode was enexcellent start to the season!

Is there a part two to the season opener?  It felt incomplete to me.

I just looked up the season 2 episodes on wikipedia - this storyline continues throughout the season.

The Bletchley Circle is terrific, too.  Last night's episode was awesome.

Second season started last week.  Last night was episode two.  Love.

It shows on WLIW or NJTV down here.  We have three PBS stations.

I have at least two stations to choose from here, but they don't have it yet. I did a search on the DVR and it doesn't come up.
