Georgia

Not today, liberals.

Can you feel it.  I sure can.

Yeah - spamming - trolling not good - adios carlos!

I wonder if they were a former MOLer returning just to taunt us.

What kind of person invests time in this sort of behavior?

And vice versa.  "What kind of person is a Trump supporter?  One who ..." etc.

 You were right, not yesterday

Good call.

It'd be funny if Georgia flipped. It's close

It's a strange election result. The polls clearly underestimated Trump's strength. But things have also shifted from 2016 -- AZ and GA either flipping, or coming very close. Biden generally outperforming Clinton, but emphatically not in FL. For all that the map looks at first glance nearly the same as 2016, it is different than 4 years ago.

Where's Carlos?

Just seeing this thread --"adios Carlos"?  Wince.

 Perhaps he was deported.  LOL

I'm presuming it's the same poster who was Robert Cassotto and Barry Badrinath. Characters designed to tweak MOL libs. So "adios Carlos" is actually quite appropriate.

free Carlos.

I'd like hear what he's "feeling" today.

IDK man, it struck me that it could be read as a tad culturally insensitive. But don't get me wrong, I enjoy some non-PC humor now and then so if MOL has taken a turn for the rollicking I have no problem with that.

Yes, that post didn't age very well

 Cassotto huh?  What a putz!

If "Carlos" really is Hispanic, maybe it would be non-PC.  But given that there's almost no chance that's the person's real name -- meh.

I bet it is Cassotto. He was super terse in his comments, just like Carlos Gonzalez. He was funny like 10-15% of the time, otherwise just a crank.

who are you to declare that 85% of his jokes weren't funny?

The important thing is we're all talking about the troll instead of Georgia, so he/she won.

So, as to Georgia who would have thunk it would be this close? To me it was always a Deep South State. Of course Jimmy Carter was Governor but that was a long time ago and Lester Maddox was also Governor.

But as business grew people from the North went to work there. And it seems Stacy Abrams worked very hard.

When the pundits on TV were asked last week what State were they watching a number said "Florida". Only Carville said "Georgia" and it surprised me. But then of all places they could have sent Obama to campaign they chose Georgia.

So let's see what happens.

 Ha. Good one, old chap.

But, as stated previously, saying something is funny implies a subjective opinion, unless stated otherwise. Or unless the reader/listener is Sheldon Cooper.
